Phaser 6510 wifi setup / password "not authorized"

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Trying to install/connect to the printer over wifi on Debian. I can access the embedded web server, but trying to add it as a new printer asks for a password:

I've tried:

  • the username "admin" and the admin password from the embedded web server
  • creating a new user/password on the web server and using that
  • leaving it blank

They all give the error message "Not authorized - The password may be incorrect."

In the settings, Permissions/Guest Access/Printing user role is set to "unlimited printing".
