Re: Phaser 6510 will not boot past "Xerox (R)" Screen

The onsite technician has special boot modes to resolve this. Unfortuantly, they can't be shared on this forum.

Phaser 6510 will not boot past "Xerox (R)" Screen

Product Name: Phaser 6510
Operating System: Not Applicable

Community,

Recently received two Xerox Phaser 6510 printers at branch office. Had the onsite technician connect to the network and punch in the network settings. Remoted in Via HTTP and configured all of the settings on the first printer, worked like a charm! Exported the settings using the clone feature (omitting connection settings).

Had the onsite technician connect the second printer to the network and punch in the network settings. Remoted in Via HTTP and used to clone feature to import the configuration settings from the first printer. Printer reboots. 20 Minutes pass and I am not receiving any ICMP responses from the printer. Call the onsite technician and instruct them to investigate. 30 Minutes pass and the technician informs me that the LED screen displays "Xerox (R)" and does not boot past this screen. Unable to navigate any menus.

I have done online research to try and find way to do a hard reset on the device but cannot find anything. Does anyone know if there is a button combination or a way to flash the firmware to restore the factory setting?

Thank you for any insight,

Deven
