Hi plantgoodseed.
What you will need to do is access CWIS (CenterWare Internet Services) first. Here is a link to the kb for Phaser 6600 Online Support Solution Access CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS)
Then use the following path: using CWIS go to Properties/General Setup/System Settings.
Sandy,
Thanks for the follow up; i'm curious, where can i find this dialog in the OS X system? Can you give me precise instructions?
thanks a lot,
Quin
Hello again.
Our technical support was able to duplicate the problem. He found that the Problem occurs when the “Size Mismatch” is set to “Nearest Size” (printer’s default setting). Changing this option to any other setting will solve the problem. He suggests you try: “Use Bypass Tray”.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Oh,also, I was using "Enchanced" mode for print quality.
Sandy,
I am using 3.64.0 version of the Xerox print driver. I wish i had known what older version of the print driver i had with the printer that just broke, but it seems when i added the new printer it upgraded *both* printer drivers
Is there a way that i can access older software to attempt to see if it truly is the new print driver? It's the only thing i can think of.
thx,
Quin
Hi plantgoodseed.
I would like to ask you what version driver are you using and what print quality mode are you set too? That may help us to troubleshoot the issue.
I am also going to move your other post under this one so that we can keep them together. It helps to have all the conversations in one discussion.
Hey, I'm having this same problem / i just posted it as a separate thread: http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/Phaser-6600-doesn-t-print-custom-sizes-properly/m-p/18476...
but this is definitely a problem that Xerox needs to identify or provide a workaround with ASAP. What i can add to this thread is that it the problem doesn't occur with the older version of the printer driver running on OS X El Capitan; i just replaced my old Phaser 6600 with a new one, and had to install the newest printer driver, and i basically am having problems with only the newer printer driver. The old one worked fine, and i wished the old printer were still working so i could have my printing setup back. In the meantime, I'm out in the dark.
