Try updating the firmware, then maybe you will be able to run the registration

Phaser 6700dn - Color Registration Failed

We have a Xerox Phaser 6700dn that is having issues with color alignment.  There should be a picture in this message.  There are halos around some of the text.  It seems to only effect the left side of the page.  I have had this issue in the past with a different printer and was not able to resolve it despite replacing imaging units, toner, transfer belts..etc.  Going through the troubleshooting steps on the printer it asks you to do "color registration", however, everytime I try I get a "color registration has failed, please try again", error.   Xerox phone support was also not able to identify the cause of the issue.  I am not sure what else to try after the failed color registration and was hoping someone here has been able to fix this issue in the past.  Thanks!
