Hi Rigel,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please completely uninstall the drivers. Once they are uninstalled then reinstall the driver Windows 7 x64 driver. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hi, I have the same problem. The driver does not allow color printing only monochrome and does not allow you to select tray. Kindly advise. Thanks
I have a similar problem. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. The print driver that automatically installs, when the printer USB cable is connected is for 7750gx, not the correct 7750DN. The driver for 7750gx does not allow to print in color and in 11x17 size sheets. I did not have this problem before when using Vista. Any suggestions? Your help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
John,
Thanks for the quick reply. Problem Solved.
Hi,
I think you went a bit to quickly though the installation and didnt select the Phaser 7300 and installed the first one on the list.
This PPD is compatible with more than one type of printer.
I tried to paste a screen shot of the installation but for some reason my message exceeds 20000 words then...
But after you browsed to the driver you have a selection of printers on the left of the window (with the docucolor as first) and on the right the different types (incase of the docucolor only one the docucolor 2006)
If you select the Phaser on the left you can scroll down to the 7300 on your right.
Would have been so much easier with a screen shot :)
I hope it helps
Recently upgraded to Windows 7. Used the Xerox support site to download a driver for our Phaser 7300N, the driver installed as a Xerox DocuColor 2006. Does that sound right? It prints fine, but there is no option for printing from the MPT tray. Any suggestions? Is it possiblre to take the driver from our old 32 bit XP computer and use it on the new computer with Windows 7 x64?
Thank you
