Thank you for your help. I was able to install the drivers following the instructions.
Unfortunately (maybe since I'm a "new" member) I can't give you "Kudos"
Just install the driver per these instructions with exception of the version numbers (Use the one you are downloading)
Thank you for your answer.
My problem is that I don't know how to use the files i download...
I try to find an .exe file but the ones I find don't do nothing.
I search for .inf files without sucess..
I have already install some times in the past printer drivers but it is impossible to install this one. How can i do it? (on win 10)
I was lucky enoughto find the original drivers for my Win XP machine from another source and now i can print from the old XP computer using the side output, but still unable to find a way to do it via Win 10.
I will appreciate some more help.
There are no Xero xGeneric drivers, I assume you meant the Global Print Driver?
If so, it does have the left output tray option, but you need to have a much older than current version for it to support the 7400 models.
This one works
Hi
I have an old 7400 who prints perfectly but since i lost the original CD with drivers, i had to download the PS drivers and unfortunately I'm not able to use the full power of my printer.
The PS drivers are missing printing quality options (everything is prontinf as "normal" i can't select enchanced printing...), color correction options and the most important for me, destination tray option.
I need to prind card stock and unfortunately after a few print my printer can't handle to send the card stock via the "normal" top output.
So now every time i try to print card stock the paper stacks and i have to open the top and unstack the paper. It is impossible to pront this way.
I read some forum posts with the same problem and I realize that there are two drivers one is the PS and there is also another "generic" driver which I get the idea that maybe is the solution.
Unfortunatelly i download every possible driver available on xerox web site and there is NOWHERE option for the output tray.
I try this on a win10 computer.
I also have an old win XP computer on the network. I wonder if there is actually available a driver for win XP opn win 10 with the option to select the left output tray.
If you have and idea please answer. Thanks in advance.
