Re: Phaser 7500 duplex bad registration?

We have had 4 total of these machines for the last couple of years, 2 at any given time, and your registration experience is the same as mine.  The best thing you can do is print simplex, and duplex manually...shifting one side or the other to match as close as possible.  Having the guides adjusted and using the right paper settings is crucial, but these things are really better suited for office use than actual print production.  A duplex printed powerpoint presentation would probably be acceptable on a Phaser, but holding any kind of serious registration requires manual duplexing and careful shifting.  Only the print production capacity Xerox printers are any good at autoduplexing on their own, the entire office range I have used is pretty poor at this.

Re: Phaser 7500 duplex bad registration?

Hi printfastcl,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Make sure the paper guides are set tightly against the paper in the trays.  Make sure you have the latest firmware on your machine. If not please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Phaser 7500 duplex bad registration?

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi guys,

I recently acquried a Phaser 7500, good printer, nice quality. Bu tI have issues.

When I print 2 sided work (for example business cards, flyers) the registration on the front of the paper is completly moved compared to the back of the paper. I did a test print and measured the bad registration. It's about 1.5Mm Y and 2mm X

Having said this, I can't print 2 sided projects.

Please help!!
