Re: Phaser 7500 magenta streaks

Hi,

No. The LED Print Head is a part under the Immagin Unit (it replace the Laser from other printers), that one it can be cleaned with the Rod. But before replacing the Led P H try to clean it as I told you with the Rod.

Good luck!

Re: Phaser 7500 magenta streaks

i'm sorry if this is dense, but is in Led Print Head the same thing as the imaging unit? so, if i've put in a brand new one without improvement, then the issue must be somethig else?

there is no xerox service provider within 100 miles of me, as far as i can tell from the xerox website :(

Re: Phaser 7500 magenta streaks

In this it is possible to have a Led Print Head defective, or to be so dirty to take it out to clean it proper. To see if it is dirty pull out all the drums and with a light take a look and compare the four LED. Other wise it is possible to have a problem with Magenta Developer Housing or with the Image Belt Transfer (this is the least likely).

Re: Phaser 7500 magenta streaks

is that just a matter of pulling/pushing that little rod back and forth? i have done that, but with no improvement in print quality :( IMG_5888.JPG

Phaser 7500 magenta streaks

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

All the support and forum research says that replacing the magenta imaging unit should correct this problem (massive streaks in the magenta), but a brand new unit made not a bit of improvement. I can't find any other suggestions or recomendations for a fix. Help!?!
