Phaser 7500DN PS V4 won't print from some applications WIN10

Hello,

 

We own a Phaser 7500DN. We are running WIN10 64bit machines and have installed the latest "Xerox Print Driver Installer" PS drivers from Nov 3, 2015.

The problem is, that the printer works fine from certain applications like MS Office of PDF viewers, but fails from Autocad 2016. Actually it would print, but always to letter size paper and in grayscale. If we want to make printer settings from Autocad print menu the Xerox settings window would show up empty and then would freeze.

Any ideas?

 

Also, is there a plan to add V4 PCL drivers to "Xerox Print Driver Installer"?

I've tried V3 drivers with no luck, they always print empty pages.

Thank you for using the Xerox forum.

 

At this time we currently offer a V4 PS driver for the Phaser 7500 and don’t have plans to create a V4 Phaser 7500 PCL driver. The product was launched in 2009 much before V4 drivers existed. The PS driver was created to enable printing to the device in its recommended PDL.

 

Xerox engineering recommends that you contact Xerox customer support and submit a Software Problem Action Request(SPAR) so all pertinent information can be gathered to enable investigation. Additionally when contacting them, you may be able to request the V4 PCL drivers.
