Re: Phaser 7760 GX white diagonal strikes in yellow toner

Thanks Fiery. Indeed it is a 7760 as the title of this topic says so ;-) Alas it's a thing one can't replace by itself. I will contact my dealer to get a quote. I always use genuine toners. Besides, it's a PagePack machine.

I believe your avatar is a 7760. It's the developer housing. Make sure you are buying genuine Xerox toner. If you don't this problem could reoccur even after replacing the developer and developer housing.

It's likely the developer housing. See here

Phaser 7760 GX white diagonal strikes in yellow toner

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi there,

My Phaser 7760 produces white feathered diagonal streaks in the yellow toner. So if I print a solid yellow square on a page you see white diagonal (45º) stripes a 2 cm apart from each other. Something is blocking the transfer of yellow toner on the paper. I shook the toner cartridge and cleaned the laser window. So far, I can tell it's not the drum as I tested swapping the magenta and yellow laser drums. Any ideas? TIA
