I've seen that - nothing works, except when printing from the Adobe CS6 suite. Looking at the same problem with other printers on a lot of forums, I've seen that the problem could be to transfer some files from the user to the root system... any help is still necessary ! Thanks, alain
See here. It has to do with the System Integrity Protection (SIP) or “rootless” mode.
You will need to do some work at the OS level.
My phaser 7760 with mac os 10.11.6 is not printing at all from standard application (Office, mail, browsers etc.) but print perfectly well from the Adobe CS6 app.
The message I get in the "queue" window is "Filter failed" - and nothing happens.
Printing an InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or pdf file is perfectly ok, but is not from any other app.
The printer driver is the one developped for mac 10.10, as recommanded on Xerox sites.
I've made everything possible, as reinstall the driver and the printer, restart the printing service etc.
I need your help !
