motiondude,
I am sorry about the dead link and I have fixed it.
I am very happy you resolved your issue.
I also want to thank you for posting the solution so others may also benefit.
Thanks Mitch. The driver you refer to (link error: page not found) is the same I'm using now.
However I've resolved the issue by trashing the Xerox related files in the Receipts folder.
After testing with restoring permissions everything is fine now. I think this started after the
10.9.2 update. Under 10.9.1 I didn't have any issues with the same driver, so it wouldn't hurt testing.
Hi motiondude,Hi
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.
There is a recent Driver that has resolved some permission issues that you may wish look at.
Mac OS X Print Driver Installer Package 10.7, 10.8, 10.9
The issue you describe may be an Apple OS problem with it's defaulting permissions.
I would suggest that you also review the Apple web for potential solutions.

Hi there, I run a Xerox 7760GX with Xerox driver 2.0.13v1 (Mac) which is the latest. Printing is not an issue, permissions however, are messy. After a run repairing permissions with Apple Disk Utility - which I do on a regular basis - it corrects the permissions for this driver. But when printing again I get a dialog warning from the driver the permissions have to be repaired first in order to print. After the driver alters it permissions I can print again. But with repairing permissions with Disk Utility history repeats itself. Can this be fixed in an update? Thanks!
