Hmm. Well I have tried 28lb and 32lb text, and I have selected Plain paper on the printer. That should be correct right?

It sounds more like the paper is programmed as the wrong stock (Weight/type) so the fold unit uses the wrong amount of pressure.

Check your tray settings

Hello,

Is there a way to readjust the folding and stapling on the finisher? We purchased our 7800GX + the Professional Finisher in December, and when we print a booklet to it, it always folds the back about 1/8" longer than the front.

It also appears that in that folding and stapling process, the paper is getting gripped a bit too hard, and has a waffling pattern on one edge as it comes out.
