I called Xerox Technical Support, and they instructed me to wipe down the belt cleaner (R6) and run ten blank prints after. I didn't notice any marks on the blank sheets before or after wiping the belt cleaner.
B/W and Color prints remain consistently defective. I am hoping to call back tomorrow.
I am having this exact same issue with my Versalink C9000.
Similar lines appear on B/W prints as well. Replaced all drum cartridges and fuser. Followed the 'Cleaning the Printhead Lenses' step, twice, and no luck. Are there any other steps worth troubleshooting?
It looks like to be from magenta. The best way to check is to print separately C/M/Y/K at 50% coverage.
Hi Gabienne. It doesn't appear to be related to a specific colour, because the lines also appear in B&W prints.
We live in the island of Bonaire (Dutch Caribbean) and cannot get a tech to easily come and help us. Not sure how to proceed... :(
Just now I see your image. If you are sure that you have a good cleaning of the LED's, it looks like there is a debris in one developer housing so you will need a tech to remove it or to replace the developer material for affected color.
Hi Gabiene. Thank you for your reply and advise! How do I best go about swapping the drums?
Hi,
It is possible to be from one drum cartridge. To see that swap the drums between them (all 4 are the same).

Hi everyone,
We purchased the Phaser 7800 at the beginning of this year. The last few months when printing SRA3 a line (vertical) appears on the side of our prints (please see below photo). We have tried cleaning the LED sensors but this didn't fix the problem. We don't get any lines on A4 prints.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? It's very frustrating and is affecting the quality of our prints.
Thanks in advance for any help :-)
Laura
