did you fix the problem ? what was the problem ?currently I have the same problem please advice
Regards
Yes a tech would be needed, if the NV wasn't cleared we would check that print wasn't disabled, the machine wasn't set to offline, LPD or RAW disabled in CWIS, but it isn't worth looking since it was reset.
There's nothing to see in Job Status because it rejects the data. When I attempt to print a demo or report, it says it's going to print but nothing happens and it doesn't show up in the Job window on the printer either. So is the next step to request a service technician's help?
Then it is physically broken, if the jobs leave the PC then they are failing in the machine and you can find out why via job status.
But these print by default and it can't be a simple setting is wrong because you just effectively wiped all the settings.
Thank you for the reponse. I've reset the NVRAM, but it still isn't doing anything. It won't print a report/demo or a file I send to it.
If nothing is listed as needing to be replaced, and you are not worried about losing settings, I'd just reset it to defaults via:
Printer > Tools > Setup > Service tools > Reset NVRAM > Reset NVRAM
Phaser 7800 won't print anything that is sent to it. It also won't print its own reports or demo pages. When sending something to print I get an error "Remote host did not accept data file (32)." or it spools to about 10% and freezes. These are small files, and I've tried printing from other computers as well. I've updated drivers and replaced consumables that were near the end of their lifespan. Everything looks fine, but it just won't print.
