SAMDK, did you find the solution? my xerox does the same thing. And the nvram reset did not help, also the wave amplifier has been replaced.
Hey you!
If you do not have any contract or warranty it will probably cost a lot to repair, I can't tell you if its worth it cause thats your call.
You can ask xerox, they will send you an offer before coming out, which means you'll know how much it will cost before they do something, you don't need to accept the offer.

It was not responding to my pressing the up and OK button while the error message was displayed so I turned off the printer and turned it back on immediately and reset it it but the error message is still on any ideas?
Thanks again,
Sam

Thanks for your quick reply!
The error message comes on after warming the machine up. Is it possible for me to even access the option of resetting NVRAM with that message displaying? If I can how do I go about it?
Also if it helps in figuring it out The was a wide blank whit space on doccumnets printing the day before.....
Hey you!
19,0XX.xx Errors - Printhead Calibration faults.
19,003.48: Scale and offset error is too large. The voltages measured have
more than a 20% error from their expected values. Something is wrong with
the Electronics Module or the Wave Amplifier.
Try Resetting NVRAM, if that does not work you might need to replace the NVRAM chip or maybe even the Printhead.
To prevent these discharges, a Grounding Clip (P/N 650442700) was added on later 8500-8550 machines.
