Thanks, that worked for one of the two,the other one I have to get into device manager, then hidden devices, delete the printer after a reboot to get it.

Heya, follow this guide I wrote and it should work.. Hopefully :)
1. First step is to navigate to Start -> Devices and Printers, and select the printer that’s supposed to get removed. Right Click and select “See what’s printing” delete everything that’s in the printer queue.
2. Select the printer and choose “Remove device” on the top right corner.
3. After that press “Print Server properties” to the left of “Remove device”.
4. When the “Print Server Properties” window shows up, go to the tab “Drivers” and select the Printer name that’s going to be deleted.
When the correct driver is found, press “Remove” and “Remove driver and driver package”.
Tip: if you cannot find the “Print Server Properties” button, you may need to manually start it up.
This can be launched by going to “Start” and typing "Printui /s /t2" in the search box.
When trying to remove the driver an error may pop up, and it means that the printer queue is in use.
4.1. This can be turned off in the command prompt program, which can be found in
“Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command prompt” or “Start” and by writing "CMD" in the search box. (if you need admin access to do this, just right click on the CMD shortcut, and select run as admin)
4.2. Write as following and press enter:
Net stop spooler <ENTER>
Net start spooler <ENTER>
Now the driver can be deleted.
Tip: If it still does not work, just restart your computer, this will reset the spooler.
Thanks!

I meant to say that it did not work on clearing out the old PS driver from the drop down printer selector. Any ideas how to remove it totally.
Cheers.
Clearing out old print drivers Windows 7 64 bit (USB ) Also Printing thumbnails only on PDF's w/ Original PS Driver.
Did a new setup on a HP Laptop with Win 7 64Bit and the PDF's jobs all came out wrong-
very small thumbnails on page, deleted that driver and loaded PCL5 and it works fine.
The old driver is gone from the Devices & Printers Folder, but still there in applications
when using the drop down print selector. Any references or help with USB printing on 8560MFP
would help. I deleted the print que and got rid of one driver completely but it did work on the original PS driver. HELP !
Thanks.
