I too have the very same issues with this machine and I've spent almost $1,000 with an authorized Xerox repair company and I have SEVEN repair tickets to prove it. Yesterday, I was on the verge of tears when they wanted to charge me AGAIN and the paper jam problem continues to persist this morning. I have read posts on this site that date years with photos and comments which match my issues. What gives Xerox? These are expensive machines and in my case used for a one-girl home office. This machine has been cared for and ONLY quality paper is always used fro my work. They ahve ordered new rollers and agreed to waive the installation. PLEASE, HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT ...... PLEASE?

Hey you!

 

If you connect to Centreware and see if you can find any fault code there?

 

I'm talking about the paper path sensors, they are black and can be pushed up, just see if they can be moved easily, and if not try to clean em to see if that helps?

No error codes at all.

 

Would you be able to inform me as to which sensors and their location that suggest cleaning?

Do you get some kind of error code when this occurs? should be a code with four digits.

Have tried to clean the sensors with a damp cloth?

Hello Kimzi,

 

As I stated before, I performed all the actions in the provided link.  The Maintenance Kit is showing 84% Life Remaining, it was installed in August 2013.

Try cleaning the drum suggestion is not very helpful as to do this requires feeding in paper and as I have stated it jams every time it loads a sheet of paper.  In fact when I power the unit off and on it immediately displays the message "Cleaning Sheet Needed - Load Standard Size Paper" and thus the whole jamming issue commences.

 

I am at a total loss on what else to do to get this unit backup and running.

Hey you!

 

I dunno how much you've done yet, but I suggest you have a look at this LINK.

 

Also try cleaning the drum:

  1. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button on the Control Panel to select [Troubleshooting] on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Print Quality Problems], and then press the [OK] button.
  3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Remove Print Smears], and then press the [OK] button. The printer will clean the ink from the rollers by running several sheets of paper through the printer.

You might wanna try replacing the Maintenance Kit, could be that the drum aint getting enough oil.

Can you post one of the pics here so that we can see where it stops?

It sounds like the rollers or maybe the fuser are defect.

I followed all of the steps in the provided link.  Still jamming continuously from both tray 1 and tray 2.  The paper stops at the same location all the time now.  Just at the exit edge of the black roller as seen from the top exit door access.

I have photos showing where the paper is stopping each time.
