or you could just go for the old trick, just check "print as image" usually works.

After 3 years of talking with Xerox, HP, and an IT specialists I finally fixed the same problem today.  The fix is easy!  Download the newest firmware 10.78/ps 4.2.8.  Download instruction are included in the file you save to your computer.  Every problem I had printing has been resolved and I found the solution by searching different forums.

Well figured one thing out if I use Foxit Reader Free PDF reader I can print the brochures but when I use Adobe it doesnt work.

No, but that again did change the error recieved.

error is now the exact same error that I started out with on the Publisher document which led me to focus on fonts,

when you print, open up printing preferences, thet in that last tab "advanced" the setting trutype font, choose "download as softfon"

Well rolled back the driver and I get the same situation as before but also can now get another error code

I found that with a publisher issue when I removed a coloured font from a brochure that I was having trouble printing I was able to make it work. I just find it odd that I have to work around the printer and find solutions for stupid issues like font colours to make it print,... its a colour priniter it should print coloured fonts the same as black fonts with no problems. My guess is that with these pdf's if I find the "font or picture" that the printer doesnt like and remove it that it will print fine.

Nope getting the new drivers, made the situation worse on the one computer they were put on, no reaction at all now when the same PDF is printed you click print and the PDF just closes now, no spooling, no prining, nil :/ printer still prints from word though

are you using the latest global driver PS? i have better experience with them

Hello, having a bit of an issue with our 8860 when we try and print a PDF file to it the printer only prints 3 lines, after spitting out a blank page first. The pdf is colour and has 16 pages and is 105MB in size it seems to spool ok and even seems to print correctly in the print information window but the print out is as follows

on second page

ERROR: undefined

I'd just love to know what to do to get it to print these pdf's the printer is networked and we can print word docs to it no problem from any of the computers but have tried 3 different computers to print the pdf's from and have had no success.
