Hey!
Try to print an internal page and see if that works, or does it say anything on the printer?
ok, basically I turned the machine off, unscrewed the scanner connector cable, reconnected it, turned it back on and now nothing works, no printer, no scanner nothing, the display screen is not functioning either. Yes I have unscrewed the scanner connector cable and reconnected it several times now.
Hey!
You did not link the solution, which means we do not know what you did.
Would be nice with more information.
Thanks!
I have now followed these instructions:
http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-8860mfp/support/enus.html
And not only did it not fix the scanner, but now I can't print nor access any function for the printer anymore at all
Hi evidencepix,
To access the support page please go to Xerox.com and then select Support & Drivers, then enter your machine model number. Select support and then search on what you are looking for, in this case the fault code. Please let me know if you need any further information and I will do what I can to help you.
If only I knew how to access this support page /solution for the error code this reply might actually be helpfull. Buit obviously I don't otherwise this post would probably not exist. I'm not super keen on spending $30/hour to ask for support centre "help" either
Hi evidencepix,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Take a look at this solution for the error code from the support page of your machine. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
We have a Phaser 8860MFP and the error 39,003.40:21553
came up this morning and now I can't scan anything,
but printing functions are still fine.
What should I do?
