Poor quality printing

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
I just bought a xerox B215 printer, with all the postcipt technologies that a xerox monochrome printer must have.
I don't know if something is wrong with the configuration of the printer. Or if I configured it in a bad way, or I should I consider that the quality of the xerox now became horrible?
My problem is that it prints in horrible textured gray. And there is no way to make it print correctly.
I have tried to print it in all kinds of softwares and in any case the quality is terrible.
There must be some way for it to print out well.

Is it the normal/standard quality print or is there something I am doing wrong?
PS: I installed the updated driver from the web page.
 
Any help will be apreciated
