Re: Post Script driver

Yes, the Admin version seems to be the better one to use.

If the SmartStart program doesn't install on your machine [it seems about 50% or more of computers will not install it], do to Xerox's website and manually download the print driver then tell windows "have disk" and get it to use the one you download.  That is what Xerox Software support told me to do.

FYI: I have found the PCL6 driver for our AltaLink C8070 prints with too much pink and the PS driver does better.

Re: Post Script driver

Try using Xerox Smart Start. Click Advanced after it detects the printer and select the PS driver.

Post Script driver

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Xerox recommended replacing PCL driver with a Post-script driver on a Xerox AltaLink C8170 and C8155.  However, I only see a post-script driver for administrators on your website.  Would this be the driver to install on user's PC even if they are not an administrator?
