Re: Print Both Sides by default Color C60

If you do Printing Preferences on a server it applies only to the server.

The settings that windows pushes to the client is done via Printer Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults

Of course these settings will not automatically populate to already connected client PC's. You would have to re-connect via reboot, or remove and re-add the printer to the client

Re: Print Both Sides by default Color C60

Hello Joe,

Thank you for your reply !
The printer is installed on a server with its driver, guests moved from the server (so for example we Copy1 ServerXXX on the client).

However, this configuration was not the last (I was in "printing preferences" and I put in "2-Sided Printing" "2-Sided Print") and after changing from the server, it does not impact clients ...

Do you have an idea ? Thank you !

Re: Print Both Sides by default Color C60

Print driver over-rides anything done on the copier, so the client PC needs to have it done in Printing Preferences.

Or share the driver from a Server and all clients print through that.

If there is an external Fiery on the C60 you can set the defaults on the print queue in CWS and just connect to the Fiery as a print server from the client PC.

Print Both Sides by default Color C60

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi everybody,

I want to know how to default double-sided printing at all the customers?
I have configured on the print server, but apparently it does not take it into account in clients (I test print from my PC but the printer preferences have not changed).

Should we go through something other than the printer on the print server?

Thank you,

Florian
