To be supported by Xerox you need to have the PS kit.

You should be able to cobble together something if you know how to do PCL from Linux/CUPS.

The generic PCL available by default will work and support color, you just need to look for the "c"

  • Generic PCL 6/PCL XL Printer Foomatic/hpijs-pcl5c (en) <The C is for color, XL is for the GUI>
  • Generic PCL 6/PCL XL Printer Foomatic/lj5gray (en)

Thanks for your answer Joe.

I checked if I have PS interpreter on my Xerox, but sadly I don't have this option.

So to print in color, I can use PCL stream ? Or I must have PS interpreter ?

It's a syntax error, which would imply you don't have the paid PS interpreter, and are using a PS stream.

You are going to have to print via PCL stream or buy the PS kit for the printer through your dealer/sales rep.
