Re: Print image processing slower than printing

Hi DBordello,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please see the solution in this forum post.  I know it is not exactly your issue but it may help with the issue you are seeing.  If that does not help try these steps to print the document as an image.

  1. Open the PDF document to be printed in the Adobe Acrobat application on the workstation.
  2. Click on [File] on the toolbar, and then select [Print]. The Print window will be displayed.
  3. Click on the [Advanced] button.
  4. Click on the [Print as Image] check box .
  5. Click [OK] twice to print the document.

If the issue continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Print image processing slower than printing

Product Name: WorkCentre 7970i
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I have a WorkCenter 7970i that I am printing to over the network.

Unfortunately, the imaging processing appears to be slower than the physical printing.  Therefore, the printer has to stop and wait for the processor.  I am using a scanned PDF as my test file.

I have tried several PDF readers.

I have tried the v3, v4 Drivers, both PCL & PS.

Any suggestions for driver settings to allow me to print at full speed?
