Update: I installed the Type 3 PS driver and now printing works with Windows 10. So obviously the Type 4 printer drivers (PS and PCL6) are the issue. Maybe they are buggy. I still would like to use the Type 4 printer driver, so how can I proceed?
I just installed a WorkCentre 6515 with the latest firmware connected to my LAN. Printing works from all iOS and MacOS devices.
However, printing from Windows 10 does not work from any application. Not even printing the test page from "Printers & Scanners" does work. I used XeroxSmartStart to install the drivers and ended up with a "Type 4" "WorkCenter 6515 PS" printer installed. I am printing via LAN.
Checking the event log it always shows 4 events:
The same sequence is logged with every failed print. I tried troubleshooting the spooler without success.
I also installed the driver on a second Windows 10 PC with the same results.
I am out of ideas how to solve this. Maybe you have more...
