I do not belive there is any change in the engine rasters.

however there are different quality options available in the print driver and or the print server defaults. So if the print queue are set up with different quality setting that would cause a raster change.

also when different media Whight ' type is selected , then the calibration and color profile will also have a significant impact on output.

are you using the standard C8070 or do you have the optional Fiery print server driving the device??

Print raster AltaLink C8055 and C8070 (sharp vs. smooth)

Operating System: Windows 11

Hello all,

does the AltaLink C8070 apply a different print raster than the slower versions (C8030/C835/C8045/C8055)? For example, when I print the internal consumables usage overview, the printout of the C8070 is smoother and the printout of e.g. a C8055 is sharper.
Is this normal or is it possible to adjust the rasterization in the NVM? Both machines have the same firmware version (R23-02).
