Hi there,
I have some suggestions for your issue.
1 - Change the Protocol from "RAW" to "LPR" and change the queue name to "print". Also check the "LPR Byte counting Enabled"
2 - Disable (uncheck) the "Advanced printing features"
3 - Disable the Bi-directional communication
4 - Reboot the machine
If the issue remains, install the Global print driver.
Hi Eddie,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for selecting the paper for printing. If this information does not help you resolve the issue please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
My office has a Xerox WorkCentre 7855 and 5755 that was just updated to Driver Version 5.351.8.0N on Windows 7. Prior to installing this driver, the software that we use would automatically select paper as it was needed. For example, a pdf could have a combination of 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 sheets and Adobe Acrobat would print out the doument like we see it on the screen. Similarly, we were able to select print options like two sided printing, stapling and paper size in the Microsoft Word printing drop down menus.
With the new drivers, we have to select paper sizes in both printing preferences and in the software. For example, to print an 11 x 17 page in adobe acrobat, I need to select File -> print --> properties --> paper size --> OK --> Page setup --> paper size --> OK --> print. It adds a lot inefficiency to our document creation process.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?
