We just installed both a Xerox Color C60 with Fiery and Xerox Primelink c9065 without Fiery. The C60 with Fiery works fine, no issues with paper types or sizes when printing.
The Primelink c9065 has serious issues with paper types/sizes compatibility. We installed the correct Primelink Driver on our Mac system which has been used for 8 years to run Xerox and Konica machines without issue. With the new c9065, the usual paper sizes and types that are on the Xerox c9065 and C60 (Plain, HW1, HW2, HW3..., Coated 1, Coated 2... etc.) are NOT what is displayed in the printer dialoge window in ANY of our Adobe or Microsoft software programs. We get a short list that has only the following options: Auto Select, Card Stock, Coated Paper, Envelope, Heavyweight Coated Paper, Heavyweight Paper, Plain Paper, Transfer, Transparency. NONE OF THESE except PLAIN will allow us to print to the c90645 without an error saying "paper type not available". HOW DO I FIX THIS????????? IS THERE ANOTHER DRIVER WITH THE CORRECT TYPES???? I have had a USELESS PRINTER for an entire week now, our "tech pros" have no idea how to fix it and I am really frustrated.
