We are trying to upgrade the print drivers on our Print Server to V4 print drivers for AltaLink printer, and since its a shared printer and we have about 150 clients connecting to this printer over network -> Print server.
When we installed the V4 drive along with Xerox Desktop Print Experience Application on our print server, the device is detected and we we are able to set Secure Print on the utility. However when the client computers conenct to the newly created V4 printer driver instance, the client computer is not pulling the V4 driver or the Xerox print experience software.
On the client computer, the printer is selecting the driver as : Microsoft Enhance Point and Print driver.
Can you suggest how we can resolve this for the V4 printer? As if we install V3 driver, the client computers pulls the V3 driver along with the Old Xerox print software.
