I found an easy work-around this problem. I first removed the entire Xerox print driver, turned on the printer and let Mac find the printer and install it's own print driver. No more errors and I was able to print something.

Printer Software installed incorrectly error - brand new printer

Product Name: Phaser 6022
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I just unpacked and set up my brand new printer but cannot print anything due to software error. I keep getting this when I open the Print Queue or attempt to print something.

Clicking "Repair" does absolutely nothing.

I have MacOS 10.15.1 Catalina. The latest driver available from Xerox is for MacOS Mojave, so I had to use that. I properly rebooted my computer as recommended.
