Printer bypass tray paper not present

Hello, 

our printer versalink c7025 is showing paper present at bypass trey even if there is no paper.

Later when paper finished ni a1 tray where we hold a4 it switches to bypass tray and because of there is no paper in fact (but printer thought there is paper) printer claim paper jam and ask to do following 2 steps:

1st step -  To remove jammed paper from left side door A 

we open door A, see  there is no paper, close door A. then it ask to do 2nd step

2nd step - Printer asks to remove and insert paper from bypass tray

we insert paper, remove paper, insert it again .... whatever we do printer keeps asking for 2nd step. (because printer see paper inserted in bypass tray all time even if there is no paper)

Now i want to ask persons who use versalink C7025 printer, do there printer correctly identify when paper is present in bypass tray and when it is not present.
