I'm told that the device conforms to the Engergy Star standard and when the device is on hibernate mode, it's essentially off with the exception of the power button. So, in theory, it uses almost no electricy.
One of our engineers has created an image to show you what the lights should look like durning hibernation.
Hope this information helps.

Hi numzie, the product engineers tell me that the l power button below stays lit when the device is in hibernation but the rest of the device is esentially off. So, this is normal behavior.

I just got my B230.
Sleep mode after printing works well, but I want the printer to turn off (hibernate, right?) after 1 hour.
So - I set it to 1 hour in the menu on the printer, but after 1 hour nothing happens. It still looks like it's in sleep mode, as the power button is lit.
I would expect it to shut down/hibernate and turn off the light.
Is this is malfunction or am I missing something?
