Hi,
We have also this issue but the partner can't provide more information. If you Google this issue or error message there are litterly no results. I know there are developers from Xerox are on the forum. Can they provide more help?
Hello Judy,
Thank you for the reply. We will try this!
Hi Cathy,
Thank you for the response.
I have tried this multiple times and it doesn't change anything. Do you have other solutions to try?
Hello, try installing the printer within the citrix server itself versus downloading it on the computer. Sometimes installing it on the WHQL or Citrix will allow you to use all Xerox features. If installing it on the Citrix or WHQL server does not work, contact your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.
Hello MK,
If you haven't already, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Xerox Print driver. If that doesn't work, please call Support: 1-800-821-2797.
Hello,
I have a question regarding printer driver setup.
My PC is on Windows 10, reversed from Windows 11. I configured the Altalink C8070 with this driver per company instructions: https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/product/global-printer-driver/content/155711. This driver is WHQL and Citrix certified.
I can add the printer and create a printing preset no problem, but selecting the printing preset from Xerox Printing defaults returns the below function address error message. Clicking OK in the Printing defaults returns the below unexpected error message.
My problem right now is that I cannot do much with the installed printer driver and I cannot select other printing presets without the above error messages.
Any printing that runs through a Chromium based browser works fine, but I cannot print pictures straight from my PC. It is also hard to print from an IE mode based software we use, because it runs printing prompts through its own printing settings and defaults to the printer preset on my PC whereas I would like to select a different preset.
Google suggest that this is a known issue for Windows 10 that has been reversed from Windows 11.
Are there any solutions available for this or being worked on?
Thank you in advance for any tips!
