Hello VinGas, 

I searched our online knowledge base and found an article for Auto Maintenance in Progress, it does suggest powering the device off. 

If you are still having issues after trying these steps I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-821-2797.

Printer has a message "Auto maintenance in progress... Do not open the device or cover, or power off

Product Name: PrimeLink B9100/B9110/B9125/B9136
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Here is a reall odd issue. Command has a job in the queue saying it is waiting on the printer. The printer has a message "Auto maintenance in progress... Do not open the device or cover, or power off." that is still on the screen at least an hour and a half later. Here is the plot twist. I am still able to use the scanner to scan to file. Any thoughts? The message recommends not turning it off and my instinct tells me that is my only option to press the power and let it shut down, then flip the power switch behind the door.
