Re: Printer not using output tray selected, and not sending to large output tray on finisher.

HI Cathy,

Thank you for responding. You were completely correct!

I had the wrong driver installed. Although the bi-directional communication was working, it was the wrong driver. Now that the correct one is installed, all the features of the printer are available, and all is good.

thanks again for responding.

Hello Deb,

Have you tried un-installing and re-installing with the FujiXerox print driver?

Thanks,

Printer not using output tray selected, and not sending to large output tray on finisher.

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I have just updated to windows 10, and installed new driver for Apeosport C6673.

Using Indesign, I can no longer select tray 5 for paper source, or large output on the finisher. I input these printing preferences, but they are ignored by the printer.

However, if I print a PDF of the same thing, it works - paper leaves from Tray 5 (bypass) and is sent to the large output.

It is driving me nuts - can any one help?

In printing preferences I changed the setting 'paper tray selection method' from 'Use application settings' to 'Use driver settings' but it made no difference.
