Hi Geraldm, you may need to call support to work though the issues you are having. They will determine if they need to send a new device or not.
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, my printer does not have a USB connector, so I am left with the other alternative. When connected as usual to a usb port the IP shown on the device is: 0.0.0.0 which does not help much. I thought of connecting the printer via the Ethernet port. This time, I do get an IP address. However, when I plug this address in any of my three browsers I get an answer of the form: cannot find this page.
So, I am left where I started, with a brand new printer that does not work. Should I sent it back under warantee, or do you have another solution?
Gerald
Hi Geraldm, I suggest you go to Drivers & Downloads - Xerox B235 Multifunction Printer - Xerox and download the latest Firmware. Xerox just released a new version of Firmware on 10/22/22 that provides a fix for 900.00 issue. I am hopful that your 900.01 issue will be resolved with the newest firmware as both are Kernel errors.

I have a xerox B multifunction printer in my holiday home. Coming back a few days ago, I needed to print somethign and bingo, the printer goes crazy. Says Kernel error 900.01.
I tried everyhting suggested on the net:
a) shutting down and resarting a multiple times with or without the printer connected to my computer
b) Resetting the printer to factory default
c) Erasing the printer from the compuer and re-installing the drivers
NOTHING WORKS!!
Please help!
