Re: Printer tray 1, 2, 3 AltaLink C8035

Make sure you are in the Devices and Printers screen NOT Printers and Scanners(On windows 11 you have to click View More Devices then scroll all the way down and choose More Devices and Printer Settings)

Right click on your driver and delete it.

If you already downloaded the GPD PCL6 files using the quick link at support.xerox.com

Click Add a Printer

Click The Printer that I want isn't listed

Choose bottom option( manual settings) and next
Choose create a new port type of port Standard TCP/IP port and next

UNCHECK query the printer, type the IP address in indicates field, and next

Have disk then browse and browse to your extracted folder and go through until you find x3UNIVX.inf and choose open then ok and next

If prompted choose replace the current driver and next

Name it and choose next

After it installs choose do not share next then finish

Right click and choose printer properties and go to configuration tab change bidirecrional communication from Automatic to off and hit ok

Go back to configuration tab and now you should be able to change the settings.

Make sure the finisher selected matches your configuration report.

You should be able to choose an output destination now below print quality

I wonder if these are the "finisher" settings? I have it in the driver options, but it doesn't affect anything.

I have installed the indicated driver. Yes, there is an additional CONFIGURATION tab, but most of the options there are "gray" and cannot be changed. Automatically after changing the driver, there are absolutely no options in the 1-touch driver panel.

No offense but you must be using the wrong driver.. try the Global Print Driver V3 PCL6. I know for a fact you can choose the output tray with that driver.

Yes, exactly, I mean the output trays. Each print always goes to the same output tray, because there is nowhere to set it to go to the side or the upper one. Each print always goes to output tray 1. What can I do with it? I tried several drivers as if this option was not there.

Re: Printer tray 1, 2, 3 AltaLink C8035

Do you mean the output trays? There's is a left output tray, a center tray below the touchscreen, and one or two finishing trays depending on which finisher you have

Printer tray 1, 2, 3 AltaLink C8035

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi.

How to make the printer print to a selected tray? It's not about tray 1,2,3,4 for feeding paper, because that's the setting. The idea is to define WHERE the printed sheet should be delivered. There are 2-3 possibilities where the card can go, because the printer has physical places for it, but it cannot be set anywhere. Please help.
