Hi all,
I have a work centre 6505 printer that occasionally unattaches itself as a saved printer and I have to restart my computer, reload the drivers or re-add the printer to get it to be recognized again. It happens usually when trying to print a few different things and sometimes after big jobs. I will print one document and then try to print another document and the printer will be gone. I check my usb setting to see if it was going to sleep and that isn't the case. The printer just randomly vanishes. Any thoughts here?

Whats OS are you using? Have you tried to print from another PC? Maybe you should use ethernet cable....
