Printer wont duplex (custom paper)

Product Name: Phaser 7500
Operating System: Windows 11
Hello

It seems that my Xerox 7500dn won't duplex when custom paper is selected (regardless of paper type). Is there something wrong here, or is this by design? My custom paper is within SRA3 size, which does duplex fine I believe.

Is there a way that I can get my custom paper (318mmx484mm) to duplex on the short edge from Tray 1, or do I need to buy a Tray 3, which can support widths <330mm, or is there simply no way to duplex this paper?
