we cleaned the interior with dry cloths around the cartridge areas, and cleaned the drums with the drum tool. no paper debris was seen. we did a reprint of a color document and as the print job got going about halfway it started again with the image being smeared, almost mirrored on the same page, and it's all colors, not just one.
our transfer roller had some color on it as well, which we wiped off lightly with a cloth. the transfer roller is new and was replaced last week. this is a definitie toner transfer issue...not drying, or sticking somewhere and transferring onto the paper for a poor quality job. it's almost getting worse.
When I print more than 1 page and in color, and there is a text box or image on the page, a 2nd copy of that image gets dragged down the paper in a lighter print. I have attached a picture. I have replaced the transfer
roller. What else can I do?
