Hello,
in addition to what Fabio just said I also advise you to read the article about Pre-configure print drivers. It might help.
hello,
when you add the printer on a tcp ip port , the correct ip adress is already filled in in bidirectional setup...that way the driver recognizes the xerox model and functions and it will update the driver...
you can also manually enter the ip adres in bidirectional setup
Hi all,
Has anyone else had issues with users having problems (various) printing from a Windows 7 64 bit client through Windows 2008 64 bit Print Server? I have a number of users who have issues printing in color, using duplex, and with print size but only with the 64 bit server. Additionally once I change Basic Printing Mode to the Printer Model in the drop down menu all the issues are resolved.
If anyone has a script or a tool that can change the mode without the need for me to touch a couple of hundred print queues that would be great.
Carl
