If it is greyed out as an admin then it is a driver shared from another PC, so you would need to change it on the PC sharing it.
Right-click the printer and go to Printer Properties
Then un-check all the checked boxes in the circled portion (3) and click OK
Then jump over to the Advanced tab and un-check this one (2)
You will need to close any open applications then re-open them for the setting to apply, but if the driver caused it, the issue will be gone, and the important thing to note here is, no features will be lost, because we just disabled things that cause problems and have no benefits
We have several users trying to print to a Xerox 9301 from Adobe Reader. Whenever they press Pinter Properties to make changes, the Xerox box pops up but is blank, and eventually crashes. Adobe Reader seems to be the only program with this problem.
I have tried several different Xerox drivers but they all do the same thing. I have resported to the users using Edge to print pdf's which is not optimal.
Any ideas?
