Re: Printing Small Booklets

Well I posted this Friday night, maybe someone will respond this week. I have called support and advanced support several times over the last year for this issue, no one has come up with a solution yet.

Re: Printing Small Booklets

Hello nubbinse,

I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797.

Thanks,

Printing Small Booklets

Product Name: Xerox Versant 180 Press
Operating System: Windows 11

I am trying to print smaller booklets.

I have the XEROX® PRODUCTION READY FINISHER BOOKLET MAKER.

It advertises that the smallest supported sheet size is "Minimum: 7.7 x 10.1” (194 x 257 mm)"

I can't get my Fiery to accept any size smaller than 8.5x11.

If i adjust either of these number to be smaller like 8x11 or like 8.5x10.75 I get this error
"Finishing[Center] not supported by selected Media"

I have tried figuring this out for months. I use a SquareFold Trimmer and I just want to trim a booklet down to 4.5", the max it can cut from the edge is 0.788" so I can't use an 11" width, it can't trim far enough. My ideal sheet size would be 9x10.75.

I tried contacting support, I was on the phone for over an hour and was transferred to second level support. Their solution was to wipe my fiery and start clean. After hours of running the 20 or so updates to get my Fiery back up to date it made no difference. It will process a booklet in these other sizes, but once I click print I recieve this error. This is frustrating because I bought the trimmer specifically for these size booklets.

Any help, or things you think I should try would be greatly appreciated!
