When toner smudges the heat from the fuser is too low, to counter that you increase the weight of the paper in tray settings. The issue with plastics are that the toner melt point can be greater than that of the plastic/Vinyl. If you go too high for the media and it melts, it will get costly quick, first thing to die is the fuser, then any melted vinyl or plastic that rubs off on the internals after it will be done for. Your model also uses Fuser oil, It may be another thing to cause an issue
Greetings,
We are attempting to run Vinyl on ourXerox 8080 but the print scratches off. In fact you can basically rub it off. Any insight on what we may be doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
