Printing as application (session) user on an application server.

Hello,

We use the GPD on a network drive and communicate with this via a Websphere based java application. What we would like to see happen is that the user who is logged in to the web application is able to print documents to the FollowMe queue, such that users of the application  can swipe their smart card at any printer and retrieve their document.

What happens however is that all print jobs created by the application end up in the print queue for the user who installed the driver on the Windows Server. I cannot find any programatic way (in Java)  of ensuring that a user's details can be added to the print stream in such a way that the print job is added to the correct queue.

Is there a way of doing this?

an idea : those global drivers ahve the ability to turn on network accounting with an username, look at the configuration tab of your driver, under accounting
