If you print to the print queue, the Fiery is pretty transparent from the end-user point of view.
If you print to the direct queue, the jobs won't even show up in Command Workstation.
Command Workstation can be run by nobody, or every single user, it is a just a window to the Fiery, it doesn't actually do any work for it.
I have a fiery for my 250, and I run it from a laptop that has the command center. Can set this printer up to be used as the "office" printer so that everyone has it? Like how typical laptops are set-up?
You are the best!!!! I'm going to try it before accepting solution but I'm sure it will work. See you in a month.
If it can be done, it will be with the following settings.
That is assuming the pdf has the blank sections to account for what would be pages 3 and 4.
Like this example
But, if the file is portrait single pages, and you need to add 2 blanks per folded output, you're out of luck . That would have to be done first in the file. The Fiery and Creo would not have the power or option to do it.
And all that relies on if the printer won't just fault, most will do it in sections as stated, but some models won't. The 250 is way too old for me to have one for testing.
I need to print 500 birthday cards with 500 different unique addresses. They are all in a 1000 page pdf. Page one is the front of the card with a unique addess (address 1). Page two is the saying inside the card. Page three is the front of the card with a unique address (address 2). Page four s the saying inside the card, and so on and so fourth.
I have a creo and a fiery, so would be happy with instructoins for either one. Any way that I can submit this file so that it prints the front, and then the back and then folds? Or is there any other way to make 500 cards with 500 unique addresses.
Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help.
