Hey I just installed a C315 and a B215 both printing through a USB connection and I am having the same result.  

I was able to connect the B215 to the wireless network and use that port for the print driver rather than USB connection and that one started printing correctly.

Unfortunately the C315 is not in a location with Wi-Fi so it is still printing the garbled text as well through a USB connection.  

Maybe some sort of software corruption?

I would recommend un-insntalling and re-installing the Xerox Print Driver

Printing from USB

Product Name: Xerox B215 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hi, 

I am using Xerox B215. When I try to print directly from a USB, the document (word/pdf) that is print out always display garbled text/code. Does anyone know how to deal with it?
