My brand new WorkCentre 6027 has started printing nonsense when I try to print a PDF or a JPG. I am running MacOS Mojave 10.14, but this was upgraded before I got the new printer, so nothing should have changed.
HELP!
Might sound silly, Did you remove the old drivers and re-install the printer ?
This really sounds like a driver issue.
No, but I'll try that! Thanks!
Reloaded the driver and now it prints 75% fine but still can't seem to print the JPG part of the print job. any other ideas?
If you are printing a PDF, you could try printing as image.
Print window -> Click Advance Button -> Check "Print as image"
Just as a test to see if the job comes out 100% this time, And Vise Versa if the Check is already there (remove Check).
I don't think there is anything wrong with the printer, this is all Software / Driver.
I am using a Windows machine, so the option might be different on a MAC
I received my WC6027 and out of the box it printed most images in 1/8" squares or thick/thin vertical lines. I printed an image with a 1/8"solid diagonal line, and the diagonal line comes out of my printer with 1/8 stairsteps. Regular type seems to print fine as long as its not embeded in a .jpeg file. The Xerox is connected to my iMac using OS 10.14.6 - Mojave. I have downloaded the latest driver from the Xerox website. My Printer & Scanner Preferences list the Driver version as: 1.149. Still I haven't been able to print .jpeg images by themselves or embedded in a document. Screen shots are worthless. Please help.
