Joe,

That is brilliant! I actually meant to say B7035 but had other stuff on desk at time!! Yes the xerox option is better for us so versalink no good in this case. It’s more for media than size! Cheers

AltaLink and Connect key have that feature (Xerox)

VersaLink does not (FujiXerox)

But, the B8045 is AltaLink (B80XX and C80XX), not VersaLink (B70XX-C70XX)

And the VersaLinks only have 7025, 7030 and 7035, there is no 45ppm models.

So..

If you have an AltaLink, do like Connectkey EWS > Properties > Apps > Printing > General

VersaLink products have a similar, but different approach, they have the "Hey, load the paper you said you wanted a minute ago" feature. And they have "Look, I know you wanted A4/A3, but you are getting Letter/Tabloid instead" feature. You only get the choice of one or the other. But they word it different than I do.

Printing on alternate paper

Product Name: AltaLink B8045 / B8055 / B8065 / B8075 / B8090 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10
Hi Guys

On this model when you submit a job to say A4 lightweight cardstock and you get to the device and there is none of this stock. On CK boxes you can choose alternate paper such as A4 plain and jobs done.

Can’t find this feature on the Versalink B8045 and wondered if Fuji Xerox don’t have this?
